Canadian Conservation Institute

The Canadian Conservation Institute is a part of the Canadian Ministry of Heritage and is actually the creator of the Preservation Site listed above.  This site is their home page and is an excellent educational and reference source for professionals with a monthly newsletter, opportunities to purchase books and other learning materials, and in-depth explanation of the different factors involved in causing the deterioration of objects and how one can protect against them.
